Bad to worse (to better...?)

Well, the Cubs lost on Friday and as we all know the Irish got pounded on Saturday. A pretty lousy and depressing weekend. On the bright side, I got to see a bunch of college friends, all of whom were in agreement after the game that Jimmy Clausen is the only answer for the rest of this season. Being the optimists that we are (on average we predicted a 9-3 season -- before Saturday of course -- and that includes one undefeated prediction and one one-loss prediction), we agreed that things can only get better from here. And, as was pointed out to me, it's special to be watching a meaningful game at Wrigley Field on Labor Day. Here's to visible improvement.
