National Pastime

Went to the Nationals Ballpark a couple weeks ago. Funny to me how they couldn't get a sponsor to buy naming rights. It's pretty generic, as new ballparks go, with the standard issue huge scoreboard and closed-off sections of extremely expensive seats behind home plate and immediately behind the walls down both lines. There's a good view of the Capitol dome, but only from a certain place behind first base in the upper deck.

West Coast baseball

I knocked out the LA ballparks in June. This brings my total to 19 major league venues, 6 of which are no longer used. Stay tuned for three more new ballparks by the end of the season!
